Dr. Ashish Thomas has been a key figure in driving foreign investment into the UAE for nearly four decades. Since then, Dr. Thomas has been a serial entrepreneur, building multiple successful businesses and mentoring countless others in a variety of industries including real estate, media, construction, technology, and more.
As a consultant, director, teacher, and mentor, Dr. Thomas guides both corporations and individuals in launching and scaling businesses, tapping into the UAE’s thriving real estate sector, and leveraging the nation’s other strategic investment opportunities that yield abundant returns. One of the most important professional charges he has undertaken is as Regional Manager for Reebok Middle East, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. During this period, he was able to significantly propel the brand forward. The development strategies that he spearheaded made the brand repeatedly surpass its annual financial budget for the region.
Reebok soon rose to become the number one sports brand in the Middle East. He was able to work off this growth and establish a strong retail presence for Reebok in the Gulf and many other parts of Asia. One of the strategies he executed for achieving this was implementing innovative and creative loyalty programs to build a strong regional customer base.

Following this, he was able to contribute his expertise in Sales and Marketing in the Middle East to other premier footwear brands like Skechers and Dr. Martens as well. Ashish has also served on the management teams of various companies like Healthlines Middle East, Sun and Sand Sports, Emirates Sports, etc., and was able to contribute significantly to their growth towards becoming big-time players in the sporting goods industry in the Gulf region.

Recognition
In recognition of his efforts and contributions, Reebok honoured Ashish with the “Regional Excellence Award” at the Reebok International Global Summit in 1999 and the “Making a Difference Award” at the Reebok International President’s Award Ceremony in 1997.
He has also earned other accolades like the “Distinguished Leadership Award”, which was presented to him at the American Biographical Institute in 1999, and “The Appreciation Award”, presented to him at the Healthlines Middle East Director’s Award Ceremony in 1997.
